HOW WE CAME TO BE
Our History
For over 30 years now, our highly qualified and experienced team have been helping clients from Northampton, Bedford and Cambridge, neighbouring Sharnbrook, Olney and Kimbolton, and, as our reputation has grown – from even further afield.
Our doors first opened for business back in 1989 when our founder, Brian White, moved from a small workshop in Rushden in Northamptonshire, to the bustling market town of nearby Higham Ferrers – which rather appropriately means ‘high homestead’.
As a small business providing a high-quality bespoke service, our returning, loyal customer base both in the residential and commercial sectors is testament to the principles and standards that we are proud to adhere to. Â
With all the original members of staff still here today, we are proud of our heritage and reputation within the counties of Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Cambridgeshire.

And in January 2023, we welcomed a new owner and another string to our bow, with the arrival of award-winning interior designer Alexandra Wilson. She not only brings over a decade of interior design experience with her, but helps us keep abreast with current trends within the world of fabrics and suppliers, in particular, new products and trends as they hit the market.
